The Messaging Map is a web based, searchable database that captures and summarises the citations supporting core areas of product positioning and messaging, developed by Allori and Beddoes Institute – a great tool for marketing, medical and sales personnel.

Evidence by Selling Message
Evidence by Clinical Need
Articles by Relevance
Bibliography

In addition to aligning the evidence base to core product attributes and associated claims and selling propositions, the Messaging Map also:

  • Provides evidence linking product benefits with the disease state
  • Ensures that messaging is consistent with the current brand strategy
  • Provides evidence already approved for marketing and sales activities, graded by Cochrane nomenclature
  • Supports strategic communication planning by reporting anticipated messaging from the Publication Plans
  • Provides summary information on each paper for sales and medical support
  • Ensures rapid medical approval in local markets for sales materials
  • Is flexible regarding content and can include cost-effectiveness and health economic citations

The Messaging Map has an easy-to-use intuitive interface that saves staff time and maintains regulatory compliance. Being web-based it allows for global distribution of key strategic support through all phases of the product life-cycle to sustain your products’ competitive advantage within shifting markets and the evolving clinical evidence.

How can I apply the Messaging Map to my business?

When

  • Pre-launch phase During the brand planning phase to develope persuasive, evidence-based product messaging.
  • Launch phase To guide development of promotional materials and educational programs, and ensure that materials reflect agreed messaging and citations.
  • Post-launch phase Update with emerging product data and the development of new messaging as appropriate. To capture competitor messaging and literature support.

Where

  • Sales To be used in the field in response to questions from healthcare professionals about the supporting evidence to product claims.
  • Medical For agreement on approved claims and messages, with supporting citations.
  • Organisational knowledge management Maintaining a confidential inventory of agreed messages, claims and associated citations that are accessible to multiple stakeholders.
  • Product team training As a repository of information that is utilised for training purposes across the multidisciplinary teams (medical, marketing, sales, regulatory).

How does the Messaging Map work?

Population of the Messaging Map depends on the status of the product's brand positioning and messaging. Where product claims and selling messages are established, completion of the Messaging Map involves an evaluation of the literature and summary and ranking of the relevant evidence. Regular updates ensure the evidence is always current.

For products in development, or in the pre-launch phase, a number of additional steps may be required:

Demo

We host a weekly webinar which serves as a guided tour and introduction to the Messaging Map. It's a clear and simple presentation that will help you decide if Messaging Map is right for your organisation, why Messaging Map is different, who's using it, & how they are benefiting. You will enjoy a 15 minute presentation with live demo and are welcome to stay and participate in a 30 minute question and answer session afterwards. Following the webinar, you are provided with 14-day access to the demonstration site.

Webinars are scheduled in the US every Tuesday at 4:00pm EST and in Europe every Wednesday at 9:30am GMT. We also offer daily and private webinars upon request.

Please contact us with your name, contacts details and your preferred webinar time & date.

Licensing

Some clients prefer for the Messaging Map to be administered by their company IT department and hosted on their company’s servers.

1. Stand Alone License Agreement

In this situation a Standalone License is probably the best option. After contacting your corporate IT department we will provide you with an estimate for developing an implementation pathway with them along with a draft license agreement including cost. The cost will depend on the requirements of your IT department, their maintenance requirements and training. You may prefer to manage your own citation processing and data‑entry and may not require any of the additional services that Allori provide in association with this product (see below).

2. Services Agreement

If in addition to the Standalone License you wish us to provide services to support your staff i.e. administration services, processing of citations, data‑entry, customisation of the software, brand workshops, sales training (either online e-detailing or face-to-face messaging training), integration with market research segmentation, or additional services, we would be happy to provide an estimate along with a draft of the Services Agreement following a scoping meeting.

3. Packaged Services Agreement

Alternatively, if you would prefer the software hosted on our servers and citations processed by our staff in accordance with your requirements, then a Packaged Services Agreement would probably best suit you. This Agreement includes the software license and services that you nominate.
